Description
this is a shot of my ring cutting setup. It's not much but it works for the ring cutting I do.Related content

Your work space looks as organized as mine!!
What size blade are you using? This isn't too much different from how I cut my rings.. I have my coils vertical though and I only use a large hacksaw for armour.

those are 12" blades if I am not mistaken. they are the standard hacksaw blades that our DIY stores sell. I use the ones with the most teeth (i believe these are 31 teeth/inch but I'll look that up for you tonight)
blade thickness is 1 mm, and I take the ones that have all the teeth in a single row. wood cutting blades have the teeth sway to both the left and the right of the blade, resulting in a thicker cut (supposed to remove sawdust from a cut in wood)
XD oh and this is a tidy workplace by my standards.

Ah ok, they're what I use for when making armour and chunky jewellery. I'm looking into some larger gauge stainless for jewellery.. It's a bit costly when buying in 5kg rolls but It's the only way I like to buy my wire... once ever yearish!
My workspace had a little tidy up this week.. I can now work at my table again! XD

nop still got it ^^
there is still a good cm between my thumb and my sawblade. just look at where my thumb crosses the gap of the vice.
I've actually never cut a finger in this setup, whereas almost all other setups have drawn blood at some point
