This is Template, a swap version (but not really) of Error. I've been juggling with this idea for serveral months, so it's not just a rough concept anymore.
For any info please read the ref, I'd appreciate it c:

He really did, and my comments about how amazing the origin twists are. You kept Error's origins but changed Template's actions to where he took a different path from the one Error took.Ā

Yup, that's right. Template willingly made the decision to not become Error - which doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

True. We never know what may happen with the little guy and something might convince him to take a path similar to Error's. Though if that could even happen is unknown to me. Thats up for you to decide if something like that happens or not.Ā

Yep, Template is my version of that swap. He's pretty different from Reboot, but Reboot existed before Template.
I wanted to make error and ink swap over a year ago, but then reboot and eraser happened and I was like "well, looks like I'm too late!" and gave up on it, but when I revisited the idea, I got inspired and had so many ideas for this that I simply had to create my own! And i'm positive they are definitely different enough from Rouge's swaps to be their own unique characters :3

Ah. I apologize for taking so long to respond. I got distracted by other things, and my memory is pretty bad, so it took me a lot longer than I intended.....
I still intend to draw some fanart of Template tho!Its just taken me longer to get inspiration for undertale things back (and for me to actually remember in the first place....)

As for remembering, maybe you'd want to make a list of ideas you can update whenever you get something you wanna draw? It tends to pile up but at least you'll always have some ideas pinned down to draw whenever you feel like drawing :3

Awww! This guy is adorable! Is it just me, or is he also really short? When it compares him to Blue he seems taller, but in the first photo he looks kind of short.

Actually, he's of average size. Compared to Pale, Template still is a tiny bit taller.
But he's giving up the vibes of a small cutie, so how could I blame you ;D
