Description Hark! Krayt Empire Propaganda!

I got the inspiration for this from an old British WW2 Propaganda Poser, which simple read:

"STAY CALM and CARRY ON"
([link] )

And that's as much as the poster says here in Aurebesh, which the the text form of Galactic/Imperial Basic (English) in the Star Wars universe. The last line of text on the poster says 'Support the Empire'

I'm also keenly aware the the Darth Krayt Empire uses a different Imperial logo as it's image. I prefer this one

I did after reading some of the Star Wars: Legacy comics
Spoilers Below
It was designed as a poster that was put up after Krayt took command of the Empire, to keep the populace calm about the change in authority, but it came into an ever greater prominence shortly after the Genocide of Dac (Mon Calamari) revealed to the galaxy that the Galactic Alliance Remnant posed a serious threat to the Empire after the victory in the Battle of Mon Calamari

I've actually yet to read up to this point, having already read bits of it on Wookieepedia >__<'
Spoilers End Here

Sorry for the quality, it'll have been much better if I had the latest Photoshop so I could have saved it as a Smart Object. I had to convert it from .svg to .jpg which lower said quality down a notch

Hope you like it : )

This is pretty nice! I was also thinking that something like this could be put up by the grand moffs when the rebels took coruscant. I always invasioned that battle as being aken to the battle for Berlin at the end of WWII. In fact, the Nazis put up posters and grafiti w/ similar slogans. 1 was "our walls are broken but our hearts are not." I always thought that would fit in w/ with the empire pretty well too.

Well, this is actually based off of a WW1 poster put up by England to keep the general populace calm. I figure the empire would be more likely to treat the intelligence of its citizens as sub par and that easy to manipulate.

I knew it was a British poster, but you're absolutely right. In times of crisis, all governments use techniques such as these to keep the populace either under control or to support a cause. I study history n have a fond interest in the history of propaganda. That's why I like this piece.
