Since a winter chill has just arrived in my neck of the woods, I would especially also not like to get sprayed with water, but anyway...
The REAL news of the day is that there is FINALLY a website set up for Bomango!

There are a few things that'll be added in the future, and I'm sure the site will evolve as we go on, but mainly, you now have a place where you can actually READ the comic without dancing through links and hopping around all over the place.
We are, in fact, now an actual "Webcomic".
And...back to work!

Nonono! That last panel is far too tame! You can't just say "Hector." You need to scream it out at the top of your lungs while standing at the entrance to their fortress! Less "Hector" and more "HECTOOOOOOOR!"

Longtime reader here, just finished re-reading all the previous comic panels of dubious continuity 
I have nothing but heaps of praise, revisiting this series has been a joy and a roller coaster.
That being said, something about the expression in the bottom left bothers me, it seems a bit too.. Liney?
Your art is never really "wrinkly" or overdeveloped and I just wanted to share that.

After looking at some side by side stuff I realized that you're using softer colors than you used to, so it could just be that the black is standing out more in contrast to skin color than it used to.

Hector is playing with fire.
At least he knew enough to walk out of the immediate danger zone before throwing that last needle. Her face in that last panel is absolutely priceless. That's the last button push before launch.. if he didn't immediately say he was kidding, it would have been better to have opened the door first so an instant retreat could be had, avoiding the salvo of cold water..
I had to do a double take to see that they were near the Cafe and not their house. The front kinda threw me off, but the familiar dumpster and fence brought it back..also the whole 'that's definitely NOT their house, dumbdumb' moment where it yanno.. was the cafe with all the accoutrements and even a menu with their name on it.
too much rest i guess.

At the moment, the first priority was getting the current comic up and running on the site, but my team and I are figuring out a good way to get the older stuff on deck as well.
(...I have a team? Wow...I do! Huh!)
Anyway, "G1 Bomango" is considerably more eclectic and chronologically muddled, so curating it into something like a cohesive gallery of its own in a way that's marginally less confusing will take a little more time, is all. But we'll get there, don't worry

I couldn't sit on the site being active any longer without sharing the link, but yeah, there are a couple things left to plug in.
It's surprisingly harder than I initially thought to give descriptions of the cast without tacking on narrative elements that haven't been introduced yet

As any accomplished author/novelist or artist, etc, knows; creating a believably functional world is primarily determinant upon character minutia; wherein, all the particularities of each individual character are reasonably defined, consequently giving the story 'personality'. If the story possess personality, it then invariably generates intrigue, which ultimately establishes 'interest' to the reader. The reader has a vested interest in the characters and events within the story and the author has their 'hooks' in the reader. The same is said for a comic book or graphic novel, period.
I think that is one of your greatest strengths, Van; you're capacity to eventually attribute 'personality' to a story and cement interest to the reader. The interpersonal interactions of your characters appear to have a 'naturalistic' sense to them and appear believable to the reader, rather than a series of contrivances with the express purpose of simply propelling the narrative forward.

Effusive AND glowing, with a subtle, hoppy aftertaste and notes of sweet maple.
Part of the challenge of creating an ongoing comic that updates a page at a time is finding a balance between what reads as a single, standalone page, and what retroactively reads as part of a series of pages. It might be that there IS no great balance, and you have to lean towards one or the other.
Scenes like these break from the main cast, and when read as part of the larger story, they give the story a little more air and expand the world a little bit. But while they exist on their own as part of a slowly updating series of pages, they can still flesh out their characters in a small way.
At least, I hope they do
