Nearing the conclusion of the Holiday Commission List, here's 's character, Demon Flame!

There are challenges inherent in each piece you do. In this case, it was a lot to do with lighting and textures, not to mention the fire effect.

The fire effect's the easiest. actually. It's actually a crude custom brush I made, with a relatively high opacity combined with a rather low flow setting, applied in coats of yellow, white and orange.

The costume texture's another custom brush, which, funny enough was created after I wrote this entry. Yep, that was a change I added to the piece that I added at the last minute, because I felt it was missing something even though it should be complete by now.
