Description And finally, we have Falling Snow by !

This brings an end to my Adapter/Holiday Commissions, which I offered last year to earn money to replace the failing power adapter for my computer. Without these commissions, I would not have been able to continue using my computer regularly, so a big thanks for everyone who ordered a commission!

Falling Snow is really a culmination of all the things I've learned in the past few months while working on these commissions, among my other work. I lessened my reliance on the scanned line art, actually painting over the lines in some places, though I kept it from being too painted, so she'll still fit in with the other commissions.

The fur was done by using another customized brush. The cold, crystallized breath of air was done using one of my much older brushes, which was used extensively for background smoke in the Doctor Who: One Last Rescue piece.

The latex skirt was done in 3 Soft and Hard Light layers with tweaks in Opacity and use of the Eraser tool.

And finally, costume texture from CGTextures.com and it's finished!

She's not freezing like this?

I'd imagine she's the one making it cold, so she should be just fine!

Though, I had debated whether or not to put frost textures on her, but it wasn't in the references, so I thought better of it.
