Questions: How many colours do you have? How many do you typically use? How many would you say someone really needs? What's the price of polychromos from faber castell?

I hope I'm not bugging you with my questions. >.< I really love your coloured pencil pieces and it's wonderful to see how you work with them! I've wanted to try realism with coloured pencils, but didn't really know how. This helps a lot.

I'm happy that I'm able to help. I've started with a set of 24 pencils - it costs around 26 euros. (Unfortunately I only know the prices in euros.) I'm currently using a set of 36 pencils and still have some of the old set. The 36 pencil set costs around 36 euros. But I've also bought a few pencils separatly (light flesh, medium flesh, earth green, chrome oxide green, light magenta, and light turquoise) because they weren't included in the sets and I really wanted to have them. xD One great thing about these pencils is that you can buy them separatly - which I do regularily to replace the ones I've used up. One separate pencil costs around 1,65 euros though.

I have 42 different colors but if you just want to try them out you can begin with a set of 12 pecils for 15 euros and buy the skin tones (light flesh, medium flesh) separatly. I hope this helps.

Ah! thank you. That helps a lot. I just used a currency converter to get an idea of how much it costs in Canadian dollars. If I come across some I'll probably buy some.
