Description
Doesn't this look a whole lot better on me than the default gray?Creating a texture has been an interesting step. The head-spines were once again a decent obstacle. But I am quite happy with this. Also how do you like my 30-minutes wall-and-tower, with the 5-minutes texture, and the 15-minutes hand-drawn 'landscape'?! I suppose I'll acquire something better at some point. For now, this will do!
You may have noticed I'm in the exact same pose, making the exact same expression in every rendering so far. That's because the model isn't rigged. It can't move. That is my next obstacle to take on. And it's a big one. Fortunately I've got some pretty good help! Expect it to take a while, though.
There's a Vex at the gate! What are you going to do about it?!

Hehe, thanks. I bet I'll tinker with the texture sooner or later, but probably mostly details. I'm so motivated to rig this guy properly. I don't think I would have gotten this far without some serious help.

Haha! Usually he isn't. I guess this just makes for a more interesting shot. Also it's harder to fit him in the scene if he's smaller and unable to have a different pose. And if you call this huge, then what do you call this!? fav.me/d8e95qz
