Description
I noticed that I've been drawing too many heroes and way too many X-Men so I decided to change things up with a villain, and what better villain other than the man himself, Victor Von Doom! I always saw him as a large, imposing figure, and I wanted to convey him in such a way that he was both menacing and royal at the same time. I like how I was able to draw the cloak and how it doesn't hang off his back but drapes off unto the floor, and I liked the textures I was able to put on his tunic as well.

The armor was something that I had to mix and match from other reference art, and I noticed that Doom doesn't really have a specific armor since every artist draws him differently. I tried to keep it both classic and modern at the same time, and I particularly put emphasis on the face. I wanted to give him the cold chilling stare that only Doom can give, and I think I did well in showing the emotion in such an emotion-less metal mask. I put a lot of effort in putting detail on the face and I think it worked out pretty good! All hail Doom!
