Can i use TuneUP Utilities to load this theme, i mean not to copy the files in windows

thnx. Yep. I think you can use Tuneup for applying it. Otherwise U can also run the theme from anywhere and can apply it.

What problem are you facing? Just select "Black" from the style menu (Similar to Blue, Olive green, Silver in Luna theme) and apply it.

i did go there to change it to black and then it made the theme go to the classic version and didn't change. the only color that works is the default one.

Thats really strange. It should work. I never faced such problem neither any other complained about it.
Try to run the UXTheme Patcher once more in Safe mode. May be its causing the problem?

ok i did that but it gave me this error again,

c:\windows\\i386
It's not recommended you to continue with this.
Please eject your Windows NT CD or move that folder to somewhere else. Press OK to exit

There will be a folder "I386" in "C:\Windows" folder. Rename this folder with any other name and then run the UXTheme Patcher again. Now it'll not give any error.
After the patching, you can revert back the name of "I386".

Just wondering, how do you get the icons to be like that in your screenshot? And how did you get your "My Computer" place have the little meter underneath the hard disks to show how much hard disk you have left?

I have a question for your next release:
i like the bottom common tasks, because it leaves much space to the content of the window, but is there a way to view file informations (like size, modification time, ...) instead of " rename / move / copy ..." ?
I think this could be much more useful.

great theme. two small problems. on my comp (win xp pro sp2 w/patched uxtheme) "lock taskbar" offsets the taskbar upwards and the user pic isn't shown. [link] to see the two problems.

U'll get a "Shellstyle.dll" file in "Bottom Common Tasks" folder. Copy it and paste the file to "VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\sub_style_name\" folder.

i love the theme! it looks great.... just having a problem getting the search line to work in the start menu... or is it just not supposed to actually work. i tried to follow through with all the instruction... still confused though.

Yep. As I mentioned in readme file, the searchbar is fake. It'll not work.
It was added after getting lots of demand.
