This has got to be my best work yet...Lmao!The star detail is like unblievable(when I had it at a larger size I could go down to 200% and it was still greatly detailed)
I spent like the whole day doin this...Cuz it contained two programs...Photoshop and tarragen...
And for the person that thought this was unrealistic by the amount of stars(look at first comment)
Just like what spose to happen to earth in a few thousand years("sposed" to, in there idea) be goin through whats called a danger zone where there will be alot of "stuff" in space...Like freakin stars out the yin-yang and so forth...so now that some of ya had a lil science lesson, have a good day.....Lmao!

Must say, the stars are the PERFECT density methinks...quite realistic (from my vast ignorance of space knowledge!) But yeh, awesome, and the whole thing has a nice soft composition...sleepifying effect on me...zzzz

sorry, i fail to be too impressed, and i think a little exxageration has gone into your description. The planets look VERY lunarcell, that's definately not a very effort requiring method to making planets. I see NO terragen in this what-so-ever, trust me.... i use terragen and space enough to know better. Whilst you do use the guise of "this is not meant to be realistic" to defend the extremely dense starfield, i'm going to talk ARTISTICALLY and say that there's not really enough variation here to be aesthetically pleasing to me. Some of the stars seem to have crepts OVER the main planet too. Some nasty planet lines round their rims also look a bit distracting
i think a little more thought could be put into this piece. Sorry for the mostly negative comment here but if you're going to get on the front page, you have to expect a larger level of brutality.

well...I did use terragen in the planets land and water and those arnt stars the "crept" into the planet...those were something else...the stars are on another layer behind the planet...sorry...NEXT!

please do not dismiss me as another amateur who doesn't know what he's talking about in this field, or someone who's never tried this type of art so says wow at anything sparkly. I DO know what i'm talking about (terragen for 8months, space artist 4months), and being open to suggestions from your peers is a vital step in becoming a better artist.

i like the large planet the best, i like how you can see the lane and oceans and clouds. the rest is sorta ... blah, the star fields could use more variation, and pretty much the whole piece could use more contrast.
but this is very good, much better than your other works, you are improving

Stunning! I'm on a T1 line, so picture sizes don't really bother me... just when the screen size is so huge it's rediculous, does it get on my nerves, (like people who take digital photos and don't resize their work.. arrrgh), but here, I like that the size is what it is. You can really see the detail in this work.
Anyway, great job. Hope you do more stellar shots.
