... My OLDEST WIP!!! Was in an old folder during almost 2 years!!! Incredible.

Oh, this is fabulous!! Love the distinctly different character you've given each of them, and so well-chosen! Lupin obviously not really comfortable with this, Sirius and his devil-may-care grin, Pettigrew the hanger-on, and James looking a bit of an arrogant prat. And the expression on Severus' face is spot-on. Really really well done. (FWIW, I like it better without Lily!)

The three versions have different contents indeed. With only James or with Lily or with only the Marauders, the painting doesn't mean the same.

Fantastic! Yes, the Marauders are absolutely amazing—you captured each personality with sublime skill—but that look on Snape's face... Oh, goodness gracious.

This is such a great work - you have soo managed to get each "Marauder's" personality down pat, and Severus' sullen face is at once justified and somehow endearing to me. I find myself wanting to comfort him and punch the crap out of the others. It is always wonderful to find your work somewhere that I've missed. This was rec'd on the LJ One_Bad_Man community today, and I'm very glad it was.

I truly like the way of colouring. Maybe a bit too blotchy for the Snape close-up, but for the other parts of the drawing it works perfectly. It's dripping of dislike.
