Hmm Just don't use too much blur and smudge
they will ruin the picture.

You use the smudge, blur and burn tool all together for one subject x_x That's like Photoshop horror right there xD.
But seriously, I would advise people against using the smudge and blur, especially those who are inexperienced and especially for rocks. Rocks are solid, rough things and if you don't know how to properly use the smudge and blur, they will end up looking like fuzzy blobs. Just my two cents. I do appreciate the tutorial but I feel it may misguide a lot of people.

oh and I did write there that I only use those special tools for highlights and deep dark spots. but anyway ^^ Thank you for your advice.

Hmm That maybe so But I think that if you can use those tools right it can look good. Maybe I should put there that I use them just a little. :/ using only smudge and blur won't work. more than them I use pen opalcity flow brush

Perhaps a video tutorial would be better in this case? Because it's one thing to say that you use smudge and blur, but if people can't see how and where, it gets a little confusing!
It's just that, this method of drawing rocks is a technique you've built up out of your own experience and practicing. Beginning artists (especially if they're not familiar with Photoshop yet) will most likely be clueless and attempt to copy your method when they lack the experience to know how. I hope that makes sense xD. Still though, it's a nice-looking tutorial and your intentions are good obviously!

Hmm. Can't make video tutorial so thats about that. I don't have program and when I first time tried to put something in youtube that was just big fat failure xD Sorry maybe trying it someday agin. :/ But I have learned from mistakes and so do they. I too used way too much smudge and dodge and blur when I was young ( not that I still wasn't young but still). after realizing that using only them is not the way I started doing more with brushes. an clearly this is just my way of doing it.
is it cruel to just say that I just showed a little how I do it. that was the idea. If I'm to do book about how I draw stones then I'll do one. But for now this will make it.
Still I can see your point there. What I can do is that I can put in my description warning not to use blur, smudge, dodge or burn TOO much.
