Hello! Its tutorial time! I have got many questions about painting stone. Here is veeeery simple and short tutorial I have made just for you! I don't guarantee that you will like this nor that its helpfull, Also this won't make you good at drawing rocks. It just shows the way I do it. Don't like it? then don't use it

I have photoshop elements 8 too and I can't figure out the layers. I know a lot of people draw the sckectch on one layer, out line on the next etc. But I can't get the first layer to show through to next. It just gives me a regular white layer.

The dodge tool is quite difficult to use for a beginner, also the smudge, that's right, maybe you should advise people about these tools. ^^
But overall, these tutorial are very usefull
