Description This is a rough layout for Page 7 of a comic strip I am working on that is set in ancient Rome and is about the early life of Gaius Julius Caesar.

Please note that this is not just gratuitous nudity on the part of Pompey; it is one of many attempts in the comic to illustrate how different Roman society was to our own. The Romans had a completely different set of morals and values to us. Neither did they have the same body shame that we do in the 21st Century; nakedness was not a big deal to them. Nor was mercilessly killing someone, but we’ll deal with that issue in later pages…

I'm looking forward to that. I can't wait for Sulla's march on Rome and the introduction of Ceasar and his family!

Awesome.
Varro looks like nakedness is a big issue to him.
Pompey seems to be very happy with the news, I love the expression!

Thanks!

I suppose in hindsight, it does look like Varro is trying to get away from the nakedness!! This was not my intent! Hehe! I was just trying to show is anxiety at Sulla's approach!

I have some time off work at the moment so hopefully I'll be able to put the next page up quite soon...
