Personality: "Older brother" type, rather protective and tends to give constructive criticism (which can be perceived as annoying by others). Oddly enough for a cave-dwelling critter, he's not fond of being alone in the dark. He tries to hide his fears as he sees them as weaknesses and thinks they will hinder him when he tries to help others. He tends to share what he has with those who have a harder time getting it. Sometimes, he's perceived as too serious by others, as he can't always laugh with jokes immediately, and doesn't like to laze around. He has a soft spot for Gem, though, and will be a bit more flexible around him, as well as more easily flustered. He seems hard to befriend, but really, once you make him laugh you've broken his wall and he'll open up to you easier. He's more laid back with close friends, and generally friendly.
Design information:
- His design is completely symmetrical.
- The ores on his back are emeralds. You can use the eyecolours to draw them!
- His pawpads and tongue are the same orange as the earfluff.
Additional fun facts:
- He also really loves carrots.
- Arem is the second Orehunter ever created, the first one being Gem.

Relationships
Gem (Griwi ) - Mate. Arem loves Gem more than anything and anyone, and though he usually isn't fond of doing things he perceives as "not useful", he loves to wander around with Gem, just spending time together. The younger Orehunter brings out a more relaxed, less serious side of him.
Lime (Eliandell ) - Sort of a younger brother that he keeps an eye on. Arem doesn't always bear his playful attitude well, but he cares for him nonetheless.
