When Willow looked down, she wanted to see the ski slope- the dips and curves; important information she could use to steer. But when Willow looked down she saw mostly orange Gore-Tex stretched over the ridiculousness of her chest. It was an obstruction on par with the yawning hood of a 70's Cadillac- one that bounced and jiggled, completely undamped by the sports bra she was wearing.

She was sure she was going to crash. Willow pictured herself rolling end over end into a cartoony snowball- one that got bigger and bigger the further downhill it traveled. She'd blast through the wall of the lodge and stop right in front of the fireplace. She'd brush herself off, sit down on the couch, and then a cute guy would hand her a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows heaped above the brim. That didn't sound too bad.

Willow's legs compressed as she launched over a surprise ramp. She was airborne and time stretched like taffy. Suddenly her imagined crash scenario seemed childishly optimistic. Willow wondered how many first responders it would take to carry her broken bulk down the mountain.

Since she had new-found time to reflect on her situation, just what the fuck was a woman her size doing on a ski slope? Normally, the indignity of having to buy two lift tickets to haul her fat butt up the mountain would keep her away, but White Top Resort was running a special this weekend for larger ladies. So Willow and three of her similarly sized female friends wedged themselves into her minivan and took the highway heading north out of Location City. It seemed like a great idea at the time.

All her friends were new to the sport, so right now they were on the bunny slope, practicing their moves at safe speeds. But since Willow had known how to ski since she was a kid, she felt obligated to take the more challenging routes. The problem was that there was way more of her now to maneuver downhill than there was then. She added a decade of indulgence and physical inactivity to the excessive gifts puberty gave her. Her chest had grown vast and soft and heavy with the rest of her body following suit. It had sort of crept up on her, and only now that she was temporarily weightless did she realize how large she currently was.

Impact! Time snapped back to normal speed and Willow's gravitationally gifted form compressed like a shock absorber. Smack! For the briefest second Willow sat down. She could feel the hard-packed snow zip across her pillowy nylon-clad ass. As she rebounded she was able to recover her balance and her dignity.

Adrenaline turned relief into elation. Whoo-hoo! Let's do that again!
