+++++++++++"I don't even remember what my toes look like" -suggestion via an anonymous commenterΒ +++++++++++"Do you ever want to... go back?" The acolyte was having trouble making eye contact with Yaseem, only stealing occasional nervous glances at the scorpion half of her anatomy- particularly the dangerously pointed bits.
Yaseem couldn't resist springing a verbal trap. "You mean go back and forsake the gift Araq, She whose sands blanket the earth, has given me?"
"No, no," the acolyte cringed, looking up at the ceiling of the tunnel as if waiting for the great sting of Araq herself to pierce her for the blasphemous thought. "I just meant that... do you ever miss being human?"
A falcon soaring above the desert doesn't long for its days as an egg. Yaseem spared the acolyte this condescending answer, knowing that it was natural to be curious and fearful at this stage, knowing also that this wasn't the type of question they couldn't risk asking a priestess. Even posing it to the temple's supply master took courage. Yaseem rewarded her with a smile that put the acolyte more at ease. She took a sip of wine and formulated her reply.
"It's not like there's a point where afterwards you panic, feeling like you're a woman fused to a scorpion's body. You don't have to learn the eight-legged walk- Araq has already taught you. Everything feels right, looks right." Yaseem should probably stop there, but decided that the acolyte deserved honesty. "Conversely, all of a sudden humans appear strange: pincerless, tailless, with soft lower halves, somehow balancing on two weird limbs. Legs just look like thicker arms, and feet like bad imitations of hands with stubby fingers. I don't miss having toes. I can't even remember what mine looked like." Was that too harsh?
"Oh." The acolyte furrowed her brows, wriggled her toes in her sandals, stared down at them but saw only the bronze-skinned slopes of her ripening breasts. Devotees worshiped Araq by feasting, and she was growing adept at praising her god. She blushed and laughed. "It's been a while since I've seen mine either."Β

I had to stare at this for a good three minutes thinking "Man this is good. What can I do to show how good it is?"
So I go over a few things in my head, and finally remember:
There's a 'favorite' button.
Anyway, this is a really cool, almost smartass, turn on the suggestion.
I'd like to see more of this story. If you don't wanna do it, I might have to take it into my own hands, lol.

Thanks for deciding this was fav-worthy.Β
A little imaginationΒ can turn even bland suggestions into something interesting. I don't think I'll be continuing this though. Β

Oh I knew it was, my brain just farted for a few minutes.
Well, if you're not gonna, I'd like to take a crack at the setting. Maybe flesh it out a tiny bit.
Total credit to you for the idea of course, I just feel some inspiration here.

Ah-hah!
Monster girls like this aren't my cup of tea but I still like it none the less because it went in a different direction from how I thought it would go given the suggestion.

The viable suggestion pile is growing thin, so I have to mix things up!

This yields such a high concept that I wouldn't mind seeing more of if it was looked into more. The world in which this fantasy takes place has shades of Frank Herbert's "Dune", but otherwise stands on it's own as something mysterious as it is tense and sexual.

Thanks. I also think that there's more exploring that could be done with this setting.Β
