Description

☘️ PLEASE NOTE: Celtic Warlanders have "grey inhibitor" which restricts the spread of grey. Regular grey does not exist in this breed.

A guide made to help understand how Sabino works in Celtic Warlanders. Below are simple rules to make designing a little easier:

☘️ Grey starts at the face.
☘️ Bloodmarks can happen with Celtic Warlanders but a lot less visually striking than other breeds.
☘️ Fleabites and other expressions of grey are present in the breed, they are simply restricted.

Foal accuracy (for those that want realism in coats):

☘️ Foals born with grey will display hyperpigmentation (their natural colour so deeply concentrated it appears a lot more darker + vivid)
☘️ Foals can display grey goggles when they are a few months old. The are not born with them.
☘️ Greying as a process does not happen the same way as in people (white hair showing with age). In horses greying is the result of the hyper pigmentation, their hair follicles produce so much colour they eventually give out and turn white.
