Description
A guide made to help understand how Sabino works in Celtic Warlanders. Below are simple rules to make designing a little easier:
☘️ Sabino expresses minimally as simple face markings and socks. 3 socks minimum otherwise the expression is not sabino.
☘️ Sabino can be fully hidden (nSb only), this variant allows for Gulastra plume.
☘️ Loud Sabino will often be accompanied by roaning.
☘️ Heterozygous Sabino (nSb) will never emulate a homozygous (SbSb) unless another marking is there to boost it (such as sabino + tobiano).
☘️ Sabino can cause blue eyes.
☘️ Homozygous Sabino will ALWAYS have heavy coverage (can result in a 100% white horse).
☘️ Sabino boosts other markings ex: Sabino rabicano will result in loud rabicano combined with the sabino stains.
Foal accuracy (for those that want realism in coats):
☘️ Sabino stains are "as is" the white they are born with is set in stone.
☘️ The sabino roaning and white ticking is a progressive factor that changes and expands over time.
☘️ No foal is born with white ticking/roaning, they grow into them with time.
