Description A shattered winter scape at a fairly low angle to show that morning sky and reflections of a new sun on the shards of heaved ice.

They made for tricky (and noisy) hiking a few mornings ago .. temps were a balmy -15c, which meant I didn't have to bundle up ridiculously nor worry about frostbite just thick pants, long-johns and a parka.. overall a splendid morning!

when the temps get higher than -10c the ice breaks apart and floats into the swell ... then pushes up on shore like a deck of cards.. then the temps drop at night and it re-freezes like this..

Mate, as per usual, excellent photo!

Are you going to run out of things to shoot as winter leaves?? Or are we destined for more amazing pictures?

Nuts, two Kopeks short of a Ruble, rowing with only one oar in the water, the wheel's still turning but the hamster's left the cage, the lights are on but there's no one at home. You get the idea.
