Description A shattered winter scape at a fairly low angle to show that morning sky and reflections of a new sun on the shards of heaved ice.

They made for tricky (and noisy) hiking a few mornings ago .. temps were a balmy -15c, which meant I didn't have to bundle up ridiculously nor worry about frostbite just thick pants, long-johns and a parka.. overall a splendid morning!

How come the majority of your shots are vertical? not that there's anything wrong with that..

I guess its just a personal preference.. I've always liked vertical paintings better also..

I didn't bother reading through all of your comments to see if anyone has already said it or not, but ... This is probably one of my favourite pieces by you now ... It doesn't even look natural, yet it does at the same time; It looks like shards of glass everywhere after a huge storm swept its way through town, leaving a beautiful sky behind it to make the destruction shimmer.

This is awesome.
