Deb and I drove 50km out to Silver Islet last evening to catch the sunset on the mist ... we weren't disappointed!I found an ice-cave under a rock along the shoreline and climbed right in. (I can't resist a good ice-cave as some of you know
). The low sun was shining through the ice and it was very beautiful in there... like some other world separated from the cold winds outside.
I held my breath because the mist from it was spoiling this hand-held shot

At very first glance, I thought this was a shot of some gold fabric in a dark room, because it flashed onto the screen accidentally and I wasn't really paying much attention to it...then I looked at again, and I was like...whoa. Gorgeous....

it wasn't too big ... about 4 feet high and 6 feet deep ... unfortunately I had to break some icicles to make a doorway into it

I like the colors and contrast on this. I did a shoot recently out side with little cave-like recesses and icicles, hope to get them submitted soon.
