I used pages from random magazines, one being Gameinformers, for this piece. I also had to scan this piece in two parts so there might be a weird line in the middle of the image. Cheers!Original size: 11x17

One thing I've wanted to do is another faux stained glass piece. I did one in Grade 8 using black construction paper and colored tissue paper and they actually look pretty good! I'd probably do one of this picture of Buckethead to start: [link]
So, for your Vader collage, how long did it take you to gather all those sections so the "lighting" looked right? Lots of mixing, matching and comparing, I would imagine. I hope your teacher graded it well!

That sounds pretty cool, especially if you use that image of buckethead.
Let see...I think i had a week to get it done and i pretty much spent the first couple of hours gathering all the right shades and tone needed for the piece. It wasn't too bad since it was done in black and white.
