Description COPIC Chart from May 2009
-------
Total: 136 colours

Copic Sketch: 85
Copic Original: 9
Copic Ciao: 64

Various Ink Refills: 39
-------

Updated list (with photographs of my Copic drawer).

Bought a few Copic Original markers (mainly neutral grays) and they're not as nice as the Sketch or Ciao markers. Even though their ink capacity is significantly more.

Invested in an airbrush! It looks so snazzy and I'm yet to use it :c

Various Ink Refill collection keeps expanding-oh my!

The little dot in the right-top corner of each colour box means I have a refill of that colour. c:

Just a note: This collection started three years ago and I've been slowly investing in it. I didn't go out and buy them all at once (omg I wish I had the money to do that oAo; )--- I'm still missing 200 colours or so.

-------

FAQ-
Since very few websites ship these markers outside America, I buy all my markers from local art stores (in PERSON O: that's so... retro, innit?).

In Toronto:
I buy my Copic Ciao from Curry's (3$ a marker).
I buy my Copic Sketch & Ink refills from Woolfitts (8$ a marker, 9.50$ a refill).

Also, I buy Sketch and Original markers from Sheridan's Trafalgar Campus bookstore *A* they have lots and they're only 6.50$ a marker.

do you prefer ciao or sketch? 'cause i don't really see a difference between ciao and sketch, just that there are more colours available for sketch. oO

The only difference between the two (other than the available colours) is the ink capacity. Sketch markers hold more, so you don't have to refill them as often.

I like both ciao and sketch, but since I spend less time refilling the sketch, I prefer them

haha, oh man, this must have taken a couple of years to collect so many. Thank you for your input about copics verses prismas. I'm sticking to copics now, and the next time I drive into that city (with the only copics within an hours drive D I'm going to stock myself up.

There is certainly a lot, but never enough oAo; Copics are like crack...

If you start off with Copics, I suggest you buy a few of the 'Ciao' markers. They're almost identical to the Sketch markers (they just hold less ink) and are usually a LOT cheaper.

Avoid the originals to start (the square ones). They're more difficult to use and lack the nice brush end D: (I use them mainly for airbrushing because they fit so nicely into the airbrush).

I'm rambling on again- But I hope you enjoy Copics. I'll never go back to Prismas now
