Actually, Ebu Gogo (the ravenous ancestor) turned out to be a little more than a myth.
Scientists on the Flores island discovered real remains of what is now known as Homo Floresiensis, the man of flores, a diminutive species of insular homo erectus. Learn more here [link]

Yeah, Pazuzu is a crazy one. So much so that people currently go so far as to WORSHIP this thing. Worshipping a demon...if that ain't an all time low for humanity, then I don't know.
