Don't worry about that. Elements doesn't have that setting anyway. You only need to follow the saving procedure.

Can someone explain to me why this is so popular? It's going to reach 3,000 views soon, and even 31 people have downloaded it. I mean, I literally threw it together in minutes!
Do people really need so much help with Photoshop?

I think its because theres a link to your tutorial here: [link]
People who want to learn to animate or do gif animations and dont have adobe image ready are sent here.
But i see its not explaining how to do an animation using photoshpp
Thats why a lot of people are asking how do animate.

Assuming you don't have Adobe ImageReady like *0xo but rather have Adobe Photoshop CS, CS2, or CS3.
Exactly is a strong word. Methods would be the same, but you may not have "Save for Web & Devices" like I have listed.

Can this tutorial be used for people who have Photoshop Elements 4.0? Cuz for the document setup I don't have the "advanced" part at the bottom so I can't set the "color profile" and the "pixel aspect ratio"...I really wanna try animating so I can do my own pixel icons!!! Help please!!!

I don't believe that Elements can do animations, but I could be wrong. I'll look into it, uh, someday soon.

oh it's ok, maybe i'll just buy some type of program or something of the sort to make animations and all so you don't have to look into it!!! thanks anyways!!

Buy a program? Nonsense! Just grab a torrent from ThePirateBay.org of what you want.

hmm, i checked it out and well i'm guessing that it would probably work but 1- I'm not sure if my mom would let me download it in the first place and 2-I have a mac BookPro and not windows/windows vista :/ SOOOO it now leaves me no choice but to buy a program (unless I find something on the mac website that can make animations and stuff like that ) so yea.....or maybe there's something else on that site that would work for a mac but like I said, my mom would probably say it's no-no
lulz but thanks anyways!!

No problem, then try GIMP, for the Mac . It's open source, free, and has it's own tutorials .
Side note: Parents are great, aren't they? Maybe you can get her to pay for the license for Photoshop. Pricing starts as low as $649.00 USD! lol

Thank you for making this. When I was reading 0xo's tutorial, I thought "what is Image ready? I've never heard of that?" But then I saw the add on link of your tutorial, and got happy again.*hugs*

Yay!! This was helpful. Another hint for anyone who needs it: Photoshop doesn't have a "fit on screen" button, but the shortcut for it is ctrl+0. Not that the zoom tool doesn't work too!
