DISCLAIMER! I do not claim to be an authority on drawing men, this is only one of the many methods and it's very far from the best.Still, I hope it is informative, and that it will be helpful especially to anime/manga-style artists who are tired of drawing bishounen and want to draw manly men for a change.
I'm not very satisfied with this really, I feel I should have drawn more examples (or better examples at the least). If there's anything in my handwriting that you can't read, tell me so and I will translate the hieroglyphics...

Since I noticed lots of ppl are requesting ref sheets... maybe when you have time you could add a fully body one, or just torso part even (that's the hardest part for me because i can't get all the muscles around the neck and shoulders right) Keep up the amazing work!

gaaahhh, every time i draw a guy i manage to get at least one, "She's pretty" comment. This helped me a ton, i just hope that I can make my characters look more masculine lol =]

PLEASE do a page on hands, necks and collar-bones, backs, and torsos (as well as the muscle-structure that goes with that...ogling muscle-mags can only take me so far *laughs*).

Be forewarned then that I know next to nothing about muscles ("What the heck are lats again?") and only think in terms of easy, simplified shapes.

The thing I need most with is men with BULK. The bellies and the big, thick necks and the big arms that protect and the hands that work hard.
