... of Harry Potter's magical journey? Well, something like that. (sort of a play on words with Dumbledore's inscription on the snitch)This is my entry for the traditional Harry Potter Fan Art Contest that *Suanin is holding. Take a look, there's plenty of fantastic entries already! I may do something else, as two per person is permitted.
It's Harry, almost eleven, with his Hogwarts acceptance letter, and unaware of his destiny - and Harry, nearly seven years later, snitch in hand, and accepting his fate. This will definitely make more sense if you've read all the books...

I love how you did his eyes green. And you could totally see the difference in the hardness of his eyes from 11 to 17.
The first is more wide and curious. and the second is hard and responsible full of knowing. I like how you portrayed that ^-^

Thanks! Well, in Photoshop, I just eye-dropped the greenish colour from a print-screened copy of this site and used it for the background of my sketch, on a separate layer. I set my sketch layer to "multiply" in order to let the colour show through. Hope that explains! :] Ah, but it doesn't look like I got it perfectly here... you can still sorta see the border, lol.
