Phew, I know I still have things to do and owe some people art, so please forgive me for needing to get this idea out of my head. Spent around 4-5 hours on this (i still draw on a phone with my poor fingertips xD) and I feel very satisfied now that it is done. Allen in his moment of giving in to the mind-controlling Zeta-5C06 parasite within him, thoughts decreased to mere data which is so easily manipulated. Command prompts starting up, mindcoding system rebooting. Initiate authority voice recognition. Shut down free will. Terminate all ongoing conscious processes. Infiltrate host subconscious.
...Target acquired.

The progress is really visible here, it does show you have outdone yourself.
What I like the most I think is the expression combined with how his hands are positioned and slowly closing. His face is numbed, already detached from what is happening inside him yet last visible signs of agony are still there. Like his irises are slightly resonating. And as the pain subsides being replaced by cold calculations his motor functions taken over by the parasite, his hands get a grip at what he is becoming. Unstoppable weapon. I can see that scene just a fraction of a second later, when he clenches his fists and his expression turn into a dark caricature of an aware being.
The idea for thoughts changed into data, which is expressed in the background as well is a fine choice. Development of the parasite has been a very sophisticated one. Upgrade of analog data into digital, deleting everything that can not be transformed. Including fear and pain.
Wings are a killer, they look thicker than before, stronger and ready to lift. And as always the way feathers are drawn and reflect light in places, great job. Similar with the hair, wavy and softy with those reflections. The belts on the coat and on the boots, they look really good, especially on the coat as they follow the movement and bend. Buckles look metal and I can hear the sound they make when unfastened.
Shading as a whole on every part is again something you brought on a higher level. Every bend in clothing is seen here and awesomely underlines how the cloak shuffles.
That electro-orchestral interlude in the music, fits as the numbers start to pour down and flood everything with purple.

Allen's face in here was a real challenge to draw, because I needed to make it look fear/painful but at the same time empty as an induced effect of the parasite. Heavy emotions, but at the same time no emotions. Satan knows how many times I did it over.
The scene you describe afterwards, I think that will be a nice one to draw as well, unstoppable bio-organic weapon. Maybe I'll write a single comic page about it when I have the time. Such a sequence could be some nice insight into what exactly the host feels in the process. Dammit, you and your awesome inspiring talk.
Thoughts changed into data is what came to my head the moment I decided binary background would go pretty well with the image, to create a relation between the two. And it works. After all, data is much easier manipulated than something as abstract as thoughts. Everything obsolete is simply discarded or deactivated in the process.
And god, you liking my celshading makes me want to see how you would celshade art. Of course, I'm in love with your usual, dramatic shading style, but think about if as something.. experimental. It could whip up some very badass effects.
Electro-orchestral, I like that. Beautiful diction. Aborym seems to work very well for drawings like this.

I really like his pose there, with his arms spread and vulnerable, how it almost looks like hes suspended and puppeteered. This vulnerability contrasted by the sense of majesty created by the sweeping symmetry of the composition is really nice!
I also love the colour scheme here, purples and blacks and blues just work so well together ;u;
His proportions are spot on as well

If I may give one bit of hopefully-constructive criticism though, his feathers seem to be overlapping in an odd way; if his wings are meant to be exactly like a bird's, the feathers on the insides of his wings should overlap so that their inner edges point toward his body -- if that makes any sense ;_;Β

Of course this may be a stylistic choice in which case that's chill. Β It's certainly not a big deal or anything and it doesn't detract from the excellent quality of this piece, it's just a thing I'd wish I'd learned earlier so I thought I'd point it out ;v;

Hhh thank you for the comment Mona! Im very proud of this work and your praise makes me feel even happier about it. At first I wanted to make it a kind of tilted perspective, but due to the verticalness of the pose I decided not to do it in the end, for the sake of composition, and im glad you like how it turned out ^^
And thank you as well for the criticism. That is something that always managed to keep me going, and whenever you give me some criticism specifically, it is always something that is useful for me to know and to improve on. So yes, I'd love to see that wing explanation thingy of yours :3
