Well here it is my secret technique haha XD well not anymore XP I basically showed you what I normally do on every drawing. This tutorial requires that you have some knowledge of photoshop, have fun in this tutorial, and if you are confused anywhere tell me and I'll fix it. Pleas me tell me of any grammar msitaked and typos ^^ and if you have an easier way of doing what I diid please tell, I've learned alot from my last tutorial from your guys comment ^^ Thank you and have fun ^^Related content

photoshop is around 200-300 bucks XD but you can get it cheaper like at ebay or something

OMG!! YES!! This is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Eyes are something I never quite got right. And now I find a perfect eye tutorial to try out on my chars. (A little sharper than softer but still..) The way you brilliantly blend in gradients with the smear tool and create the effect of lighting brings a character's eye into sharp focus. I definitely need to save this tutorial because such a thing is something I need to make better eyes. Well done. ^^

better than my complex way, sketch, then add define lines and erase sketch, scan lighten paper in photoshop and darken lines to black, add coloring, then shade, usualy only use one layer, i think if you take the time and use one layer it comes out better, but then again you are limiting the effects in picture i guess XD

Excellent work! Your metheod of using layers as the outline rather than using the outline to make layers is something so elementary, yet unobvious. Love the end result.
