Other: Stands at Paige Stud of Cullowhee, NC. Edgar is a quiet horse and very willing to work, calm and cool in the ring, in the paddock he is a bit pushy with other horses and flighty during thunderstorms. A playfull fella who enjoys snatching car keys and playing keep away.
Build: Not overly muscled like the show type Quarter Horse. Head is somewhat long for the breed, profile is also somewhat convex with refined face and wide jowls. Big neck with an upright shoulder, straight back and nicely sloped croup. The quarters are not as big as some quarter horses, he is a cow horse not an over bred halter stallion. Short cannons, big tendons, small hooves.
