Description
I was recently asked to do some designs for book bags for the local College Bookstore. The mascot for the school is the Geoduck, pronounced (gooy-duck' ) which is a sort of huge burrowing clam. It is native to the Pacific coast of North America, is too big to fit in its shell, and is the longest lived known animal, with a life expectancy of 145 years. This has to be one of the all time weird mascots, but I did a few sketches. This one is a lateral view with the siphon extended as when the clam is feeding in place in the sand.
