I highly recommend Hogshead whiskey from the Edgfield Distillery, Portland, OR in those little cups. It is the color of good quality amber and sparkles inside the silver.

It is all a matter of what you are used to.

You are correct, and I am used to steel.

Yeah steel fights back. But silver is so malleable. I love silver, and steel. Brass too, brass is fun. And aluminum, and copper... nickel is fun. ug I gotta stop this list.

That's right, or you might discover how ductile platinum and iridium are.

Oh fun. but I will stick to what I know. I have also messed with gold, didn't really enjoy it, but I did get to play with some.

Only five centimeters? And still so detailed. Quite fine work.

It's just a matter of making really small tools.

Thanks! They are actually not engraved; I considered it, but decided to fill the cups with hard pitch, and work the pattern with little punch tools. I am good at engraving on more or less flat surfaces, but I have a whole lot more experience with punch work. You are not the first to mistake one of my punched pieces for an engraving.
Thanks again.

I have been down here in Portland Oregon, working. It is about 200Km away from where I live, but I brought an old laptop along this trip. By the way the view of Mt Hood from here is more or less the same as shown on the cup on the left, which is turned away in that picture. I will see about taking more pictures when I get a free moment.
Cheers.
