Description
I've been messing around with making fire on CS2 at school and I found this is the best way to make it. Doesn't mean that you have to do exactly what this says because art is not step by step instruction, it's expression. This is the tools and stuff I use for it though. XDDDHave fun! And if you have any questions or suggestions on this please note me or ask me in a comment.

I have CS5 so I'm not sure if the dodge tool looks the same in all the versions. But it's the little black ball with the line on the bottom right side. Hope I helped!

Photoshop had a step-by-step tutorial that I followed to the letter and never did get the same effect. D: I still had ugly clouds while they had flames. So YES, yours is better. It's something I can follow and know I will get the same effect.
