Yep, spent a lot of time one summer watching my ex studying them. She was obsessed with these amazing creatures after we went to a rainforest and got me hooked on the word "orangutan"

They are unique animals! This guy had dragged his burlap "blanket" to a good relaxing/viewing area near people. I think he was interested in watching us!

Bwaahaa, I just love Orangutangs, they are just hilarious! And oh so inteligent as well. He definitely looks interested in what you are doing? Great shot if not just a "little" bit overexposed(?). Well done, Zoo's are great aren't they. They can certainly add some much variety and interest to one's gallery!

Orangutans are great---this guy had carried his little burlap cloth to a place near the viewing area to "relax". I think he was enjoying watching the people watching him! Yes zoos are great for working with lighting and composition. Although people may not agree that these are images of "wild" animals, they are still good ways to study, enjoy and practice photographic skills.
