Description I actually did this a while ago, and for those on Tango, the territories should be reasonably recognizable. Never done a map before. Painted in PSCS2

The map is very well done, but yeah, I'd consider renaming the holocaust headlands

...'holocaust' headlands? Why is it called that?

Not particularly sure, the original owner named it that, and I just assumed ownership of the game a few weeks ago.

I pretty much agree with what *xdragonflyx says... Maybe you'd want to consider renaming it.

I'm really turned off by that choice of name, too (though I read you didn't come up with it).

I'm aware that the word has actual meaning, but the connotations it carries in regards to the European Holocaust is so strong that it almost seems disrespectful and distasteful to use it so casually in a game.

I'm not attacking you, by all means (nor do I wish to start a heated argument), especially since you didn't name it... I'm just expressing my humble opinion. ^^ If I were to inherit a game, I think I'd change that name to one without any association to such an event.

Oh no, I agree actually, and there really isn't much to changing it. It bothers me too, really. :/ Now that you guys comment on it, I feel better about changing it.

Yes, you read my thoughts just perfectly well.
This sort of stuff, even sixty years later, is something people are very sensitive about here in the Netherlands where I live, and rightfully so in my opinion. I don't mean to go all dramatic about it or something, it's just that the use of the word made me frown at the very least and I don't think these kind of associations are something you'd want in an innocent game.

Maps are fun - I really liked this, but...

Oh... I'm really sorry to be a downer, but the nerd in me insists... the Shrouded Delta is very, very much not a delta =/ Deltas, from an ecological/physical geography standpoint, can only exist at the mouth of a river, caused by the deposition of silt brought downstream. That, and deltas generally have a characteristic shape in that of the letter delta...

Sorry :b

I know what they are this particular delta has a lot of swampy stuff and there wasn't enough room to show the delta parts.

Mmm. It just struck me as odd, as you don't show it at the mouth of the river/you don't show the river its at the mouth of.
