You have no idea how happy I am that they're restarting Xiaolin Showdown. I adored this show growing up, and it was heartbreaking to see it go. I've heard rumors of them making a sequel since 2010, but now they're finally coming out with artwork for it, and set a date for some time in April of 2013. It's actually happening, people!!!

That's Ping, the newest addition to the Warriors and the Dragon of Wood. Not much is known about him, but there's rumors floating around that he hails from somewhere in Europe and that he's an orphan, much like Omi

I still have to wait until I actually see it in order to give my thoughts on it. I will say this though... Chase's new voice is pretty badass. I'm gonna miss Jason Marsden doing it, but the new guy is a really good replacement.

Shurg. CGI or traditional animation doesn't really matter to me as much as the characters and the storyline. Ping's been confirmed as a boy, by the way. [link] Which is fine by me, since I get kinda sick of all the girl!monks people insert into the story line to become a love interest for Raimundo or Jack or Chase or all three at once. Xiaolin Showdown's about fighting and friendship, not cliche romances and love triangles that make no sense.
