Operations officer of the Black Sun. Unlike many other pirates in the universe, Anna was actually born to a prominent and wealthy family, and so brought up in an aristocratic lifestyle that in her later life she grew to detest. While having all the riches and luxuries one could ask for, she was given very little freedom, and naturally spawned a rebellious attitude toward her parents and caretakers. The breaking point, however, came during her twenty-third birthday, in which her father, for the first time, announced her marriage engagement with the scion of a banking clan, whom Anna herself never met. In response to this, Anna would hire Jon and Alex to spirit her away on the day of her supposed wedding, though not before she decked the groom for previously groping her. Once far enough away from her family's sphere of influence, she took on her present name and embraced the pirate’s life, wandering the galaxy ever since.
Though a gifted fighter and thief in her own right, Anna's specialty lies in the art and science of operations. Despite her background, she possesses sharp eyes, an attention to detail and a great knack for organization and efficiency, all of which make her ideal for operating a ship's various internal systems and administrating her crew’s dynamics. Very few things get by her, and many have paid the price for attempting to sneak past her gaze, much less go against her. In fact, such skills and natural gifts are especially necessary aboard the Sun, as umbras rely more on precision as opposed to raw power, and a skilled operations officer will often be the key to success. Needless to say, Jon relies on her very much.

Originally, Anna was a freelance pirate like Jon and Alex, though for a time she had served aboard the cruiser Great Axe before her destruction. After a chance encounter in the space colony Penzance however, Anna ends up joining the Flint Pirates upon the group's initial formation. At first seeing it as a job like any other job, Anna would eventually fit into her place aboard the Black Sun, establishing a good relationship with the rest of the crew as time goes on. Of course, she nominally gets into conflicts with Davis, who continuously attempts to rue here. Beyond that however, she tends to have an on/off platonic relationship with either of the Flint Brothers, namely Jon, who at times she will either be friendly with or outright fear.

In terms of personality, Anna can be a very intelligent and charming individual, but this comes into conflict with her natural rebelliousness and temperament; overall she's something of a cross between an aristocrat and a wild woman. Though she is normally polite and well-mannered to those around her, she is more than capable of becoming scorned and angered, to the point that even without a Devilblade she is considered a force to be reckoned with. Aside from that, she likes indulge herself in the usual pirate vices: money and alcohol. She can especially get into the latter, as drinking was one of the few things that she was allowed to enjoy during her time "at home", and as such she has a high tolerance for alcohol. Fortunately however, she's professional enough not to let it interfere with her duties aboard the Sun, or whatever task Jon has for her.
