Their unified leader is the great and powerful Caliph, who acts as the Aslan's representative to all races, though he himself is not of equal stature as an Amir, all of whom disappeared long ago. Because of their zealous aggression, Leos are among the most belligerent nations in the galaxy, and are known to initiate holy wars, or “jihads”, routinely, as well as continually annex territory.
