To be honest, I really hate this page with a fiery passion. I did promise a page today though, and I really donβt have a lot of patience for anymore touchpad colouring. I am going to work on darkening the colours for the next page; the biggest issue is that when I scan the page the image comes out much lighter than in real life. Maybe I will try and take a picture with my camera instead of scanning it in next time.Well, at least you get a continuation of the story, sorry again for the look of the page, it is an experiment gone wrong. >.<

Oh, thus would explain some things... I'll admit, I got a little bit confused the page Zuko disappeared... is it unique to him, the mechanical hands?

This is exactly why I haven't uploaded the Jessie Flower Project yet. My scanner SUCKS, and I hate it when art loses quality because of a scanner! Personally, I say take your time with the pages. It's no fun admiring work that the artist herself isn't satisfied with

Yeah, scanners stink, I tried doing things a bit differently this time and I am happier with the result. Probably going to post either tonight or tomorrow morning (work has to on schedule for 9-10hr shifts just about every single day. @__@ Oh Harry Potter >.<

I think the colors came out really well, for the most part. The only thing you really have to worry about it darkening the skin tones, but as for the reds they came out nice and vivid.
On another note--WOW! Holy plot device, Batman! Didn't expect that, that I did not. XD

Mai's red thing is lovely, and this page, despite not being everything you technically want it to be, is interesting. It's very subtle with the colors, but they also contrast so well!

Well you have to understand that they have been married for a while, it does change the way you interact with people.

No, no that isn't what I mean. I mean that Mai has shown a caring side towards Zuko in the series, I am sure that if they were together for a longer period of time (and we got to actually see more of their interaction), they would act differently towards each other. Also in this series neither of them are teenagers, they are in their twenties and have been married for about three years now.
Basically this is an AU, and I am taking a bit of artistic license here. Since life has been very different for them in this story line, they will have some differences from their cannon counterparts.
