I spent a little time reading fairy stories... the kind that involve such things as mermaids and sea witches. Since I had them on the brain anyway, I decided to make my own sea witch. This one conjures up thunderstorms, hurricanes, and squalls by reciting ancient incantations from her Book of Storms. Stock used in this piece come from `lockstock for the sea witch, and sxc for the backgrounds and sky.Related content

Aw... thank you! I work hard on making sure all of these have some kind of story or identity behind them. I know my work isn't exactly that different from what a lot of other people are already doing out there, so I suppose my background stories are my way of trying to set myself apart.

This is a digital work done in Photoshop CS. It's part photomanip and part digital painting.

I get a great deal of emotion from this, it is well infused in it's quality witha genuine feel of the scene and the emotions conveyed. I must say, it is a degree of quality I am not used to these days, I truly applaud and envy your skill.
