Description
This is a piece about inspiration, imagination, and how it can be found in the most unexpected of places at the most unexpected of times. It might be a touch obvious, but while doing this I had in mind J.M. Barrie and his Peter Pan stories. I like to think that all artists possess the ability to see pirate ships flying across the moon if they keep their eyes (and hearts) open enough. Peter Pan is one of the most thought provoking stories. How you captured this is so true to the story itself. I applaude your demonstration to pull us into the legends of peter pans adventures. Bravo my illustrious beauty.

That's what I would like to think, too. I remember after first reading Peter Pan for the first time as a child, I would check for pirate ships in the sky almost every night. Sometimes I still do.

Yeah, my boyfriend thinks that I must have subconsciously given Mr. Barrie a purple coat in this because, as he can tell you, I love the Johnny Depp portrayal of Willy Wonka and watch the DVD constantly. Then there's the fact that Barrie kind of looks like Johnny in my head now because of Finding Neverland.
