I was asking myself earlier why I haven't done any CG art latly, and now I remember why. I suck. really, this is proof. Captain Bubbles...isn't he cute? He probably would have been cuter if I colored him with markers or something..maybe I'll still do that. I am not going to tell you how much time I spent on this, because you would roll your eyes and say "she's hopless."I NEED a tablet.. >.<
And yes he does smoke a bubble pipe

Hehehe.. cute XD, and dont even start with the sucking at CG thing, missie! You do not, and this does not either. I thought it was watercolor at first glance at the thumbnail, but its just your coloring style, seems to show through on different mediums, very good and I think thats hard to do.

You know when I first looked at this I thought maybe it was a combo of CG and traditional mediums. Also I totally do not think this sucks. You are just being silly. He is very cute...and very funny! XD You know since Xmas is coming up you should ask for a tablet!! I bought my wacom for like $99, and I love it very much.

Aw, thank you....well, I did draw him on paper and scan him..like I said, I really can't draw with a mouse! Maybe I can find someone who upgrading to a better tablet and selling their old one for cheep on eBay or what ever..the only thing is they may send it and it's missing something >.< My mom is a little straped for cash so I don't know about Xmas presents, but I Will get a tablet! Somehow... ha.

Yeah, good idea! I just looked and they had some going for anywhere from $9-$41, and a lot of them were totally new. Be sure to check up on the shipping costs though, some people like to gouge you on that.

He does not suck at all! But yes, having a tablet makes it SO much easier to CG. I got an Aiptek for my b-day - it's not a Wacom, but it was affordable and I love it.
I like this guy - I like all the detail in his outfit and of course, the bubbles coming from his pipe. Captain Bubbles...lol...for some reason, that doesn't really strike fear in my heart.
