Edit: I used Macromedia Flash MX for this and all my horseisle stuff. ;D I would not recommend Flash if you want a drawing program. Its difficult to shade in and its primarily used for animation.So if you want a drawing program, look at Adobe Photoshop. ;D

I love the way you draw and shade your horses!
but, um.. you can see the shading of the body is very detailed, but the tail is not shaded at all, only a little gradient, I should put some shading there too :3

Hehe, the main reason for that is the tail is animated and has up to 30 frames. I have to redraw the tail 30 different times, so I like to keep the tail as simple as possible so I don't take years to finish it. XD

Meh, I'm not sure. Photoshop would be a lot easier. But my boss wanted everything to be animated, and he assumed Flash would be the best. So it's stuck that way ever since xD

wow... you are really amazing at this. i am trying to get into realistic horse drawings since that is the only thing i draw. i am hoping to get in some fresh pics uploaded. but, can you make these "flashes" from an actual drawing that you'd like draw on a paper? i really like your work but i cant afford to buy a program. i also dont draw too too realistic right now. i feel i still am beginner level at drawing. i most likely will never be able to create some amazing flashes like this. you are just really great. If you could, could you come and look and comment on some of my pics? i hope to get some up soon.

Oh my word, you seem to know exactly how to do things in flash I would like to do. Could you make a tutoral about how to make the tail animated, or the ear? When it comes to flash, I'm totally lost! I bought CS3, but the only thing I'm using is photoshop. Do you think you could show me some tricks to making looping animations and buttons in flash. I've never found a good tutorial to learn how to do this.

Wonderful! I do love the way they are done. XD Now when I get flash I can have some tips on how to do all this stuff. And everyone loves the horses! Especially these newer ones. I went and grabbed the grey one in this totorial to have as my new Delta horse. I hope it's gotten easier with your computer pen and pad.
Oh, and really picky people who don't like the horses? They get mauled by the rest of us until they shut up. And that's:
