Two months worth of tedious scale inking. UGH. But I'm proud to say this is my best dragon thus far.This is a Dragon for my story WINGS OF WAR
Guardian Dragon - Benevolent, keeper of the Hallhath mountian. 36ft. in height, 92 ft. in length.

The description says two months but now that I think of it that's kind of inaccurate. It was really just several hours over the course of two weeks for the whole inking process. I had started it in late November but didn't get around to inking it until January.

I really admire your patience! I could see myself going, "yeah, I'm going to do all this detail" when I started only later to say, "wow, this is too much work and not fun anymore, I'm out!"

Ha thanks! And yeah it does seem that way sometimes but I always try to remind myself that having the final product look sharp and precise is worth it in the end.

If you gather enough inspiration, then drawing by hand becomes easier. I usually start at the head and kind of let that estimate the pose where the rest of the body extends.
