Adam's Comments: I just got done with a buttload of drawing so bit spent mentally. But this page came out really nice. ^^ Great, fun shot with Narcisco taking the reigns of the planning, much to her own chagrin. With Jake, Occam, Protocol, and Ivy all in the running, I guess it makes sense that he vote would go to who would be the first one to vote to someone else.

Narcisco is clearly someone who has trouble outside of her position as a superhero, and there are elements to being leader that she's uncomfortable with. Gotta love her passing cheerleading duties onto Juliet, though. Actually improbed a bit more dialog for that while I was drawing the page, just to make it funnier. That and Juliet's super-perky way of delivering the news.

Yeah, pretty distracted typing this but hope everybody enjoys.

Martin's Comments: Yeah, this one was kind of a natural fun one; while there are a few potential people onhand to take up the leadership position, between her role both narratively and her experience it makes sense for it fall to Eva.... and yet while she's good at that she isn't exactly fit for addressing a crowd.

This one does kind of play into a phenomenon I mentioned a couple pages ago that the way things fell together ended up with their being relatively Blues focus for a few pages; we do at least have a page entirely centered around the kids coming up to offset that a bit but for those especially into Blues just kind of bare with us on that, kind of just had to finagle other aspects of the crossover around them for a few pages. At least we've got Jake here kind of immediately deflecting from it potentially falling to him.

Something I do rather like about this page is how it kind of goes to show the trust Eva has in Juliet, pretty much immediately opting to hand this specific uncomfortable duty over to her despite her relative inexperience. I do really try to write those two as very intrinsically having a lot of faith in each other so like getting to give them a little moments like that.
