Martin's Comments: Heads up, we're doing separate filler for each of the three comics on Wednesday! Wright as Rayne's anniversary is on the 10th and it kind of snuck up on us, while we also forgot to do anything for Militant Gold's anniversary last month, so we're going to do previews of the upcoming year for both comics on Wednesday, along with something separate for Blues.

This one had some kind of funny miscommunications on it. First off, the first panel is supposed to be, as alluded to in the second, the bag that the lock was in but with everyone but Juliet and Ash's phones in it set safely aside before the fight, but Adam initially drew it with the lock there instead. Another mistake was my fault; I forgot to clearly communicate in the script that Caoimhe was just on the phone and instead Adam actually drew her there then had to fix that. Is why she's at kind of an odd angle for the shot, repurposing what was already drawn there to save some time. I kind of wanted to have her pop up for a moment since I do consider her something of the sixth member of the group and so it felt appropriate to have her put in a cameo, especially since she's going to be pretty prominent in the next chapter.

So Dragon Rising, how much do I want to say about that...

They're a character I've had planned for a certain capacity for a long time, but kind of only in a broad, "This is what I want to do with them in the plot," kind of way. Lately the idea's been a lot more clearly formulating into something where I'm really eager to use them, to the point I'm now planning to have them initially pop up well ahead of schedule, so to that end I kind of wanted to throw a shoutout to them here so they have a bit of a presence in the crossover and to lay groundwork for when they do actually show up.

All in all, kind of a transition page but pretty happy with it. We're very close to the action starting so bare with us but yeah, first doing the anniversary celebrations for WaR and MG so be sure to check their individual pages for those!

Adam's Comments: Heheh... Yeah, just a good, easy page showing off the group so far, all getting ready for what's about to start happening. Hope you guys enjoy~

Kinda hard for me to comment on, basic moment of just people interacting and getting ready. Really do love the way that Narcisco immediately comes to the defense of Juliet, though. Just a sweet little moment, especially since she clearly has a closer connection to Juliet than she does the rest of her team.

Yeah, about all I got, looking forward to the special update we got next time~
