Adam's Comments: Heheh... Simple page with the action continuing to ratchet up! Now we get an idea of what exactly Cruel Summer's power is, and how it does/doesn't benefit her. And a quick reminder of other threats as Down lets himself get back into the battle.

Was a lot of fun to draw this one; especially fond of those last two panels, both the image of Andy sitting like that on the little outcrop of stone and the shot of him suddenly partly-covered in ice. Very nice pair of images. ^^

I get way too much amusement out of the blank expressions of Cruel Summers' empty copy-selves. .... Huh, just realized, Summer is really working Mercury's back, isn't she?

Martin's Comments: Admittedly this one I think kind of goes to show something I've been wanting to tighten up for a bit, our storyboarding. Feel like a lot of shots come out too zoomed out in a way that leaves a lot of space and makes things feel less dynamic than they could, and I feel like that's really apparent here in certain places.

Still on the whole happy with it though, kind of just some good back and forth. I wrote this page and the next few after it in pretty rapid succession so feels kind of interesting getting to this one already, but consequence of doing three a week I guess. Probably should try more scripts later for both it and Militant Gold really.
