Lately there have been Fluttermac fans bashing Cheerilee due to her part in the upcoming Hearts and Hooves episode, mostly saying Fluttershy belongs with Big Macintosh.What?
Fluttershy and Big Macintosh have never shared one word with each other, yet people treat it like it's canon.
So far, all they've done is stand next to each other in several scenes in The Last Roundup.
In fact, you know which Mac pairing is the closest to being canon? Twimac.
In Season 1, Twilight was the only member of the Mane 6, aside from Applejack, who knew Big Mac existed (being introduced to him in Friendship is Magic Part 1 and talking about him with AJ in Applebuck Season). In Season 2, several indications that hint at Twimac have been shown to us (Big Mac licking Twilight in Return of Harmony Part 2 and Big Mac running off with Smarty Pants after the spell was lifted in Lesson Zero). But the biggest hint of all is that THEY ACTUALLY INTERACTED WITH EACH OTHER which is more than can be said for Fluttershy!
In fact, I don't really understand why Fluttermac is so popular in the first place! Why? Because she's the helpless damsel and he's the big, strong tough guy? Aren't we all a little sick of cliched pairings?

I know more Fluttermac fans that don't bash Cheerilee than ones that do. I ship them because it's cute, people develop their personalities, and frankly, and don't give a flying shit about Twimac. Fluttermac is popular because it is the only hetero pairing for FS or at least it was shes interacted with other males but this was the first and it will remain the most popular because......i don't know more homophobia i guess,fluttershy should be alone,thats what the show wants and thats what i want.
you should also keep in mind that fans see ponies as themselves and want pairings to reflect that.

This is what makes me ashamed of supporting that shipping. They disrespect/act shipist (Racist without the 'rac' part) to other shippings with Big Mac, they forget just about everything about 'Love & Tolerance', and they act like a bunch of rabid dogs. Seriously, chill Fluttermacs! And what makes it worst is that one goes as far as making a fanfiction killing Cheerilee. That's just as immature as a kid play MW3.

This has gotta be the GAYEST stamp I've ever seen, do we have to like something that's most likely to be canon. No, I am NOT saying they have but they may of interacted with each other but it was not in the episodes, gueeeess what? TwiMac's never gonna happen writemaster93, the FlutterMac fans never forced you to like the pairing. I'm sure you look at it to become enraged and then rant about it saying that FlutterMac is everywhere, FlutterMac is in fact a disliked pairing to most people I've met. In all honesty, I do like a few pictures of FlutterMac, but I'm not too keen on them being an item. I prefer MacinTop or CheeriMac. Fluttershy, though...she is a mystery to me. I have no idea who I want to ship her with. I have three or more stallions on the list for her.

For me, several reasons:
1. Some fans act like this is the ONLY ship for Mac.
2. It makes it seem like only shy, cutesy girls get guys.
3. Logically, Twilight is the main character, so IF (big if) she did develop a crush on someone, it'd be him.

WHat does it matter the ship isnt canon!! I am just tired of wading through all the antiflutermac or anti macliee just to find some good work. I wish i could put up a filter to sort out all the negitive crap. and I like Cheerilee and Mac together too and i know they are cannon. Macilee. I dont see the point in saying you dont like it? when i search fluttermac i get all this anti bs along with it and i am just tried of wading through it. Make stuff you like!!! lauren faust has almost plain as day showed that she supports the macilee shipping. but that doesnt mean you should hate on fluttermac, they are not cannon but they are cute.

I am a fan of Fluttermac, mainly because my hubby is a lot like Big M and I am a lot like Fluttershy 
Sure I'd love if the two got together on the show, but I know there's no way in hell that would happen and I am totally okay with that

I'm sorry if I made you mad. If you support this pairing, especially if it reminds you of you and your husband, I'm fine with that. But what annoys me are the fans who act like Fluttershy is the only pony who can be shipped with Big Macintosh just because Fluttermac is the most popular Fluttershy ship and Big Macintosh ship. I'm just saying that other less popular Big Mac ships exist.

I like Big Mac with quite a few characters, such as Twilight, Rarity, Cheerilee, Caramel, Pinkie, Luna, to name some. I'm much more picky with my Fluttershy ships, and I strictly go with either Flutterdash, GildaShy, or CarrotShy. (I'm pretty set on having Fluttershy as the lesbian xD) FlutterTwi, FlutterPie, LunaShy, DerpyShy, and AppleShy don't bother me, but they also don't hold my attention.
With the other characters? I ship multiple ships, I rarely ever ship one pony with just one other. Some ships I like are Soarin'Jack, Twilight/Dr.Hooves, Fancy Pants/Rarity, SoarBrae, Dislestia, TwiLuna, TwiApple, Twilee, Scotabelle, Spikebloom, Twinkie, Rarijack, LyraBon, Octasratch (an exception- I only ship Octavia with Vinyl and Vinyl with Octavia), Caramel/his canon girlfriend, CaraIggy, GildaDash, ThunderBlossom, Cappucino/Spectrum.. the list just goes on and on and on.
